Project Blue Sky is a research project into agentic AI in the personal domain — a butler agent that coordinates a team of specialist agents around your goals, projects and commitments, so your attention goes where it actually matters.
The problem
The to-do list was never going to catch up
Most people who finish a productivity book and set up a fresh system feel the same anxious backlog three months later. The tools are rarely the problem. The friction is everywhere else — the deciding, the prioritising, the chasing, the remembering, the coordinating across half a dozen apps that do not talk to each other.
Project Blue Sky asks a different question: what if an AI knew your goals, projects and commitments well enough to quietly move them forward on your behalf, and only came to you when it genuinely needed your judgement?
You should be living your life. Your agent should be handling the running of it.
What it is
A butler, with a team behind it
The butler
An always-on agent that holds the whole picture — your goals, projects and commitments, the context behind them, and where they are heading. It greets you, nudges you, and clears what it can before you reach for your phone.
The specialist agents
The butler coordinates a team of narrower agents — for areas like travel, finances, communications, scheduling and research. Each has a defined remit and a defined toolset, and new ones are added as your needs change.
The autonomy dial
You decide how much the system is allowed to do without asking — from suggest-only, to recommend-with-one-tap-approval, to act-and-tell-me-later — set per area, so it is never doing more than you are comfortable with.
Self-evolution
The same self-evolution discipline behind Project EVE applies here — where an outcome can be measured, the agents improve themselves; where it is subjective, they learn from your feedback. The system gets better at serving you the longer it serves you.
How it works
A continuous loop, not an app you have to open
1 · Review
The butler reads the state of your world on a schedule and on the events that matter — calendars, commitments, messages, the projects you care about.
2 · Decide
It routes the work to the right specialist agent, which researches the best next action — and decides whether to handle it, suggest it, or escalate it to you.
3 · Act or report
Within the autonomy you have set, it acts — and reaches you on whatever channel you already use to confirm, ask, or simply tell you what is done.

Blue Sky reaches you on the channels you already live on, rather than asking you to open one more app:
- Messaging — WhatsApp, SMS
- A dedicated app — chat and voice
What it connects to
It works with the systems you already use, rather than asking you to move everything:
- Task and project tools — Microsoft To Do, Planner, TickTick, ClickUp
- Calendar and email
- Files and notes
- Other personal services, with permission
Who it is for — and where it is
Early-stage research, deliberately so
Blue Sky is built for two kinds of people: individuals carrying a heavy personal load — parents, carers, founders, anyone whose life has outgrown their to-do app — and professionals with complex calendars and real coordination obligations.
It is a research project, not a finished product. The agent design, the autonomy model and the privacy architecture are being worked through deliberately — an AI that acts on your behalf has to earn that trust, and the careful version is the only version worth building. A small private group will be invited to try it first.
